May 19, 2003, due to initiative of the Rzeszow Regional Development Agency,  an agreement was signed to establish Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park AEROPOLIS. The following parties signed an agreement to create the park: Podkarpackie Voivodship Local Government, Rzeszów Town, Rzeszów Poviat, Rzeszów University of Technology and the University of Rzeszów.

Important issue included in the agreement signed on August 11, 2004 concerning management of the Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park was empowering the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency to manage the land included in the first stage of establishing of the Park.

• Rzeszow Regional Development Agency –institution responsible for the park management;

• Rzeszów University of Technology;
• Rzeszów Poviat;
