The Technology Transfer Centre acts as a facilitator between the areas of science and business activity by creating conditions for mutual exchange of information and activating cooperation between the two spheres. The Centre supports establishing company clusters especially in aviation, electromechanical, timber and food processing industries. To realize its tasks the Centre co-operates with a wide network of institutions and experts that specialize in various fields.

National and foreign technology offers and requests

Technology Transfer Centre is a member of European Network IRC (Innovation Relay Centres) and has an access to CORDIS database. In the database (BBS) technology offers and technology requests are placed by companies and R&D institutions from the whole Europe. At present there are 80,000 clients in the database and everyday they receive an informational bulletin about issues they are interested in. Information are sent via e-mail in English language. The service is rendered without charge.

Trades, trainings, cooperation days, technology transfer days, seminars

TTC receives updated information about events organised in Poland and Europe concerning innovation and technology transfer. As a member of the National Services System network (KSU) the Centre is informed about all initiatives concerning innovation. The service is rendered without charge.

Searching for EU projects partners

TTC can help companies interested in participation in research projects in finding partners. The Centre can provide information concerning IRC consortia and act as intermediary in negotiations concerning participation in EU projects.

INNOWATORinfo – information bulletin for SMEs

Since first semester of 2003 the TTC issues an information bulletin. In the bulletin information concerning current activities realised by TTC are published. The bulletin is distributed during different seminars, conferences and it is available on TTC website.
 

Technology audits

TTC is an experienced institution in conducting technology audits. The Centre has been cooperating with experts from Rzeszow University of Technology for several years. The experts from University together with experts in business conduct the audits in two stages. During the first stage the experts visit a company and talk with a person responsible for technological development. During the conversation information about the company is collected, SWOT analyse is prepared, innovation and technological level are assessed. During the second stage the team of experts prepares a report that aims at objective description of a stage of development of the company on the market and pointing out ways of technological development (technology watch – observation of current achievements, technologies, products, markets etc.).

Offers consulting services on solutions and ideas

TTC is a part of national and regional experts network and has close connections with persons who has high qualifications and knowledge in a given field. For companies that would like to consult their ideas the Centre offers assistance in finding an expert or it provides an access to information possessed by the Centre.

Joins future partners in technological co-operation

The Centre offers assistance in finding partners billing to cooperate in technological projects – preparation of business plans, investment feasibility studies, environment impact assessments.

Offers consulting services on intellectual property law

TTC organises individual and group travels for trades, brokerage meetings, economic missions.
