The Inward Investment Centre (IIC) Rzeszów Regional  Development Agency is a contact point for anyone interested in investing in the Podkarpackie Voivodship and it supports the region's development through increasing and attracting foreign investment.

The Centre has specialist knowledge of legal regulations, sector indicators and current investment proposals as well as data on the status and offers of companies. Thanks to the Inward Investment Centre's co-operation with local government and government institutions, its knowledge of local conditions and the negotiating experience, the Centre's staff will promptly and expertly assist a business person in ultimately making an investment decision. The Inward Investment Centre monitors strategic investment projects in the Podkarpackie Voivodship.

Podkarpackie self-government is a partner of IIC. The self-government is responsible for implementation of strategic objectives of the Podkarpackie Voivodship economic policy. The Centre closely co-operates with the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, which main aim is to support economic development of Poland through increasing FDI inflow to Poland. On September 15, 2004 an agreement between the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, Podkarpackie Voivodship government and the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency  was signed. On the basis of the contract the IIC is the official partner of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency in Podkarpackie Voivodship.

The IIC assists and provides services for companies interested in investing in Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park AEROPOLIS.

 
Moreover the Centre is responsible for:

• managing the data base regarding brown and green field investment,

• providing information for investors and assisting them in a process of investment plots selection,

• trade mission preparation - active promotion of the region’s economy,

• organising participation of entrepreneurs from Podkarpackie Voivodship in domestic and foreign fairs - helping in the establishment of new contacts,

• preparing presentations - promotion of communities and businesses from Podkarpackie Voivodship,

• monitoring the state of foreign investment in the region – providing latest information concerning foreign investment,

• counselling for investors – support of developing new businesses and existing ones,

• counselling for investors during the process of implementation and realisation of investment projects.

The IIC portal is the biggest investment portal in the Podkarpackie Voivodship. It contains complete information concerning starting up and running business activity. The virtual Investor's Guide informs how to set up a company in Poland step by step. Apart from this it also informs about incentives and exemptions for potential investors.

The IIC website has the biggest database of investment offers (more than 100 proposals) in the Podkarpackie Voivodship. The database allows for quick search of property and enables visitors to place their own offers. The webpage is also a rich source of information about foreign direct investment in the voivodship.

The portal has some pages linked to export promotion. The Exporter Portal is a knowledge centre for people interested in exporting their products or services.
